LIST OF DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR DAMAGED PASSPORT:-
- Old Damaged Passport
- Adhaar Card with the date of birth
- 10th Class Certificate (If available)
- Spouse Adhaar Card (If the name of spouse not endorsed on the damaged passport)
- An affidavit stating that how and where the passport was damaged
PASSPORT APPOINTMENT:-
Along with above said documents you need to book your appointment in the
nearest Passport Office. We always advise hiring any professional for your
legal work. You can check your all detail of name, date of birth, gender etc.
on your appointment letter. Then on scheduled date and time, you can appear in the concern passport office.
POLICE CHARACTER VERIFICATION:-
Most of the times after one week of submission of passport application then local
police station will contact you for passport verification. They mostly demand
two witnesses and verify other documents.
PASSPORT ISSUANCE:-
After clearance of police verification, the passport will courier to
applicant via speed post. The approximate time for the issuance of a passport is
15 to 30 days.
