TYPES OF POWER OF ATTORNEY:-

• GENERAL POWER OF ATTORNEY
• SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

The special power of attorney used for any special work however general power of attorney is commonly used to act for more than one work i.e. all general works. 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE REGISTRATION OF POWER OF ATTORNEY:-

•  Adhaar Card, mobile number and 02 photos of attorney giver 
• Adhar Card, mobile number and 02 photos of attorney taker
• Adhaar Card and mobile number of 01 witnesses.
• Adhar Card/Identity Card and mobile number of 01 identifiers commonly Sarpanch, Numberdar or M.C. 

NOTE:-

                      If attorney giver or taker is an NRI then his passport will be accepted on behalf of Adhaar Card. The attorney giver, witness and identifier must of the resident of the same village/city.

DETAILED PROCESS:-

                                                  For the registration of attorney first, you should contact to any Advocate or Deed Writer is commonly known as Vasika Nawis. He will demand above-said documents. After the payment of registration fees and stamp duty he will affix your appointment in the office of Sub-Registrar (Tehsildar Office). On the fixed appointment time you should personally appear in the office of Sub-Registrar along with your original i.d proof and two witnesses. The sub-registrar will register the same document and keep one copy of attorney in his official record so you can take it when necessary. 

Note: Personal appearance of attorney taker is not mandatory.

ATTORNEY ATTESTED BY NOTARY PUBLIC:-

For the purpose of Civil suit commonly special power of attorney is attested by Notary Public.
